Dixie is enjoying her first spring on our farm. She loves to guard the yard and explore around the house and farmyard. She is an extremely smart dog and is an easy learn for a lot of new tricks & behaviors. She is a gentle dog overall and a very laid back temperament.  She loves the water and we are looking forward to her at the lake with us this summer. Overall she has been a great addition to our family and we look forward to many years of her faithfulness to us.

She has an endless supply of energy and everything she does is with enthusiasm. She is very intelligent and learns quickly. When called she comes at absolute top speed from wherever she is. She is devoted and loyal and clearly loves us.

When we first picked up Dusan, my Dad immediately labeled him as being "self assured". Dusan has carried this title consistently through each day and in all of his endeavors. Dusan has a great balance in his temperament. His personality is of high drive and courage with a gentle, calm nature. He is playful, curious and comedic and, as he matures, is showing more and more quiet confidence. He is intelligent therefore has been easy to train at all stages but has enough edge that the result is not "robotic". He is very attached to his family and is extremely lovable but has an element of independence, and sometimes prefers to be on his own, with the family within eye shot (he did this even as a small puppy). He plays well with other dogs and is great with introduced people but if in training or on leash he will disregard them or other distractions. Physically, he is extremely strong and athletic. He is a big thick boy, has a very sleek, thick, shiny coat, strong muscle tone, thick boned legs, and a large head. He has very focused and expressive eyes. He has been described by GSD lovers as having a "classic GSD head", remeniscant of the original breed standard. At 9 months he is 85 lbs and 28" at the top of his shoulders and has got to be growing into those feet eventually! You don't worry about being at home alone with this dog by your side. Even at only 8 months!

Deuce has a great temperment. He's definitely got high energy, and gets excited when he sees his ball - high ball drive. He's always wrestling with our other dog, and he loves to go to the dog park. He gets along well with other dogs, but likes to chase small dogs and barks at them if they don't run. He's not aloof with strangers at all - runs up to people, wagging his tail and licking them, but that's just fine with me! Especially likes children.

He's currently in intermediate obedience, doing very well - very smart and quick to learn. He will continue with obedience. I'll wait until summer or fall and look into other activities.

Georgia lives as a family companion/protection dog in Regina, SK where she shares the house with two cats. She has attended several puppy classes (basic manners and agility) and has done very well in them. We continue to look for new ways to challenge her as she is eager to learn and enjoys the process. She had a great winter and especially enjoyed anything to do with snow. Georgia enjoys playing with other dogs, but she is happiest just being with her people.... especially if that involves a ball or frisbee and an open field.

Her family has just opened a boarding kennel business and Cotia's job is to socialize. She has the perfect temperment for it, even when she is inside and the dogs are barking at their gates. She just walks around checking on everything and it doesn't bother her at all. She plays rough and tumble with some of the bigger ones and then turns around and plays nice and easy with my 2 year old.

When someone comes into the driveway she puts on quite the intimidating show of barking, as soon as they say "okay" she turns into a big puppy. Everybody that meets her has been impressed, and they are always hearing about how beautiful her coloring is.

Apache is a red/silver sable male. He now is being raised as a stud dog at Narnia Kennels in Ontario. His mother is "Libby" owned by Cey Working Shepherds, she is a daughter of OTCh. Valiant Val von Narnia, BH, SchH III, IPO3, AD and Hachel Z Elbu (a black Czech import female, now retired from breeding). Apache has tremendously sound nerves, good courage, a wonderful full, calm, yet hard grip on the sleeve, and is training in obedience and tracking. He has acquired his BH title at Niagarahundesport Schutzhund club on Oct 19, 2007! Apache is a social, friendly dog, good with people and able to play with other dogs as well. He has high ball drive/retrieve drive, and natural scenting ability. His hips have been PennHIP certified and Narnia Kennels look forward to seeing what this young talented dog produces combined with some of their great females.

However, now she is doing very well and no longer wants to hunt down the pet Duck! She is still quite protective of the office down at the dock. She is a very smart dog and listens well! They love her to bits and are sure each new hurdle will be crossed.

Brandi lives as a companion dog in Saskatchewan, with two large Danes. They think Brandi has a great disposition. She is protective but fine once they tell her it is OK. They think she's the prettiest GSD they have ever seen. Brandi is so smart and gets along well with anyone she's introduced to. She won't let anyone near them unless they say "It's OK Brandi" They absolutely love her. Her nickname is Monkey and somehow it just suits her. She has made it her mission to find and pile all dead branches in the front yard.
